Hettie & Ceefer Mysteries
by Rennae Todd

A spate of murders may or may not be a result of trouble in the universe, according to who, or what, you believe, but when croquet-playing relief teacher, Hettie Parke, finds herself mixed up in solving them, she certainly wasn’t expecting her sidekick to be a cat with unusual talents.

About the Author
Irene Sauman is a retired historian who grew up on a vineyard and orange orchard by the Murray River in New South Wales. She was an avid reader, and started writing stories when she was nine years old (including some really dreadful poetry).
Now living in Western Australia, she has three children and four grandchildren, and a sister who beta reads her books for plot holes and to see how quickly she can solve the mystery (so far, she’s not winning 🙂
When not writing, Irene reads, watches tennis, plays croquet (old age and treachery will defeat youth and enthusiasm every time) and has a reasonably green thumb, which means very little dies in her garden, unlike in her cozy mysteries.
Irene also writes modern-day cozy mysteries under the pen name Rennae Todd. But given Irene’s background, history has a habit of creeping into Rennae’s stories sometimes too. Which shouldn’t be surprising. After all, everyone has a history, haven’t they?
